Life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagine it will.Sometimes, it takes us through unexpected turns, difficult seasons, and quiet moments that slowly shape us into the person we are meant to become.
When I was 19, my family went through a financial crisis. It was a challenging time, and many people around me advised me to give up pursuing higher education. But deep inside, something told me that I wasn’t ready to give up.
I took out an education loan to pay my tuition fees and worked part-time to support my living expenses. It wasn’t easy juggling work and studies, but one step at a time, I made it through. Four years later, I graduated.
Looking back, those years taught me more than anything I learned in a classroom. I became someone who was always moving forward.
I believed that as long as I stayed busy, worked hard, and kept achieving, life would feel meaningful. My days were always full, and before I knew it, busyness had become my comfort zone.
Slowing down felt uncomfortable.
Resting made me feel guilty.
After graduation, I carried the same mindset into my career. I worked as an accountant before moving into education. Alongside my full-time job, I built side businesses and filled every spare moment with work. I was chasing what many people would call the “ideal life.”
Later, I got married and became a mother at the age of 28.
As my children grew, so did my dreams. I wanted to challenge myself in new ways, so I stepped into entrepreneurship. I opened retail businesses, built an online business, and became involved in investment projects.
I was full of passion. I wasn’t afraid to dream big or work hard. Of course, the journey wasn’t always smooth. There were setbacks, financial losses, and lessons that could only be learned through experience.
For a long time, I believed that fulfilment would come from achieving more. But the harder I chased success, the emptier I felt inside.
It made me stop and ask myself a question that would change my life: What does success really mean? Is it simply about achieving more… or is there something much deeper that we spend our whole lives searching for?
In 2018, I attended my very first mind-body-spirit course. There was one exercise that I will never forget. We were asked to write a letter to ourselves.
As I wrote, tears began to flow.
For the first time, I truly saw myself.
Beneath all the striving, the achievements, and the endless busyness was a heart quietly carrying fear, insecurity, and emptiness.
That moment became a turning point.
Instead of continuing to search for answers outside of myself, I chose to pause. I chose to listen to my inner voice.
I chose to stop running from the emotions I had buried for so many years.
Over the next two years, I devoted myself wholeheartedly to learning and understanding mind-body-spirit healing. It was through this journey that I found sound healing. More importantly, I found myself.
From that moment on, the direction of my life changed completely. Instead of constantly looking outward, I learned to turn inward—to listen, to feel, to heal.
In 2021, I founded D’Peace Healing.
To me, every heart is like a piece of fertile land. When it is truly seen, gently cared for, and lovingly nurtured, it naturally grows into a life filled with strength, abundance, and peace.
Today, I know that life isn’t only about reaching goals or collecting achievements.
It is about coming home to yourself.
It is about living with peace in your heart, finding meaning in every experience, and allowing yourself to become who you truly are.
When I look back, I feel grateful for every challenge, every setback, and every unexpected path that life placed before me.
Each one became part of my healing. Each one gave me the strength to become who I am today.
As I continue walking this path, I hope to walk alongside those who are also searching—for peace, for healing, or simply for themselves.
Perhaps that is why our paths have crossed today.
May we continue to heal, grow, and celebrate the gift of life, together.
