I earned my first million at the age of twenty-five. Most people assume that must have been the happiest moment of my life, but I barely celebrated. The next morning, I went back to work, attended meetings, and carried on as if nothing had changed. Somewhere in the middle of that ordinary day, I realised that the goal I had spent years chasing did not feel the way I had imagined it would. It made me wonder why so many people achieve financial success yet still feel unfulfilled, why some entrepreneurs build larger companies only to lose themselves along the way, and why having everything on the outside does not always bring peace on the inside. That was the moment I realised wealth was only one answer, not the answer.

The truth is, I never planned to become an entrepreneur. I am a Certified Public Accountant, and I began my career at one of the Big Four accounting firms. My days revolved around businesses, financial statements, audits, and numbers, and on paper my future looked clear. Yet after work, I found myself drawn to something completely different. I started taking photography projects, helping businesses with branding and commercial strategy, and before long the projects became more frequent, the collaborations more consistent, and a small team naturally formed around me. When I was offered a project that could support me independently, I resigned from the Big Four. People often asked whether it was a risky decision, but it never felt like one because I had already been building that path long before I officially stepped onto it.

That was how VeronStudio began. Those early years of entrepreneurship were also some of the most difficult years of my life. Around the same time, I learned about a young man who had lost his life in a scam-related tragedy in Cambodia. His story stayed with me for a long time, and I decided to donate what little savings I had left to support his family. After paying my credit card bill, I checked my bank account and realised I had only RM200 remaining. Strangely, that experience never made me feel defeated. It reminded me that a person’s worth has never been measured by the balance in a bank account, and standing at what felt like rock bottom awakened a different kind of curiosity within me. If I could rebuild my life from almost nothing, how far could I go? That question gave me the courage to keep moving forward.

As VeronStudio grew, so did I. Within a few years, I had achieved what many people would describe as success, yet my attention slowly shifted away from branding, marketing, and business models toward something far more fascinating—people.

Why could two people be given the same opportunity, the same knowledge, and the same strategy, yet produce completely different results? Why did some businesses continue to grow while others remained stuck? Why did some individuals keep evolving while others repeated the same patterns throughout their lives? No business book ever gave me a complete answer. Then an important relationship came to an end, forcing me to pause in a way I never had before. I had always believed that greater success would eventually fill every emotional gap, but it did not. Wealth improved the quality of life, yet it could not answer deeper questions about identity, purpose, or fulfilment. During that period, I immersed myself in reading, learning, spiritual practice, and long hours of self-reflection, gradually shifting my focus from building businesses to understanding human beings.

I went on to pursue professional training as a psychotherapist while studying psychology, human behaviour, and spiritual cultivation. I became deeply interested in the people who were able to create lasting impact across generations, and I noticed that they all shared something remarkably similar—a stable, grounded, and deeply aligned inner world. Years of learning, observation, and practical experience gradually evolved into House of Veronica. My vision was never simply to build another company, but to help people transform generational patterns, heal unconscious wounds, and build businesses that were aligned with a deeper sense of purpose. Over time, I came to see that every business eventually becomes a reflection of the person leading it.

As artificial intelligence began reshaping the world, another question emerged. If knowledge could be replicated and technology continued replacing technical skills, what would remain uniquely human? That question became the foundation of WaveAI HK, where my goal has been to help businesses embrace technology while strengthening the qualities that technology cannot replace—creativity, discernment, wisdom, and leadership.

In recent years, I also returned to my family’s business, Aircomp Engineering (ACE), bringing with me everything I had learned through entrepreneurship, from branding and business systems to strategic thinking and organisational development. I wanted to prove that regardless of the industry, sustainable growth is built on strong leadership, adaptable systems, and a culture that never stops learning.

Many people see a collection of companies. I see one continuous journey. VeronStudio taught me how businesses become visible through strong brands. House of Veronica showed me that sustainable success begins with healing the unconscious mind and developing the person behind the business. WaveAI HK challenged me to rethink the relationship between humanity and technology, while returning to Aircomp Engineering allowed me to test every lesson I had learned in the reality of a traditional industry.

Wealth will continue to grow, technology will continue to evolve, business models will continue to change, and every generation will face a different future. What endures is a person’s ability to learn, to think independently, and to create value that extends beyond themselves. I never set out to build multiple companies. At every stage of my life, I simply took the answers I had discovered, integrated them into practical systems, and turned them into platforms capable of creating lasting value. If one day people ask what I have left behind, I hope the answer will not be measured by the companies I built, but by the lives I helped transform, the sense of purpose I inspired in others, and the contribution I made toward creating a more complete and meaningful world.
