I ROSE, THEN I RETURNED FOR HER
Women entrepreneurs rarely admit when they are afraid.
They lead teams, support families, pay salaries, and solve everyone’s problems. They look strong in public, yet behind closed doors, many quietly wonder, “What if I am not good enough to take this business further?”
I understand that question because I once asked it myself.
I began my career as an IT consultant, ambitious and eager to succeed. Later, I entered entrepreneurship through an MLM venture and a traditional stock-keeping business model. I worked hard, invested money, and believed determination would be enough. It was not. The business failed, money became tight, and confidence gave way to shame.
That season taught me something no success seminar could: hardworking women do not fail because they lack strength. Often, they are carrying too much without the strategy, support, or courage to confront what is not working.
I rebuilt myself by learning to sell differently—not by pressuring people, but by understanding and solving their problems. I became a professional emcee and speaker, discovering that my voice could move people. Then COVID-19 took away the stages, events, and business model I depended on.
Once again, I had no clear way forward.
But I had a choice: wait to be rescued, or become the woman who could rescue herself.
I moved my training online, rebuilt the business, achieved RM1.7 million in eight months, and trained nearly 10,000 micro-entrepreneurs. Yet revenue was not my greatest breakthrough. My breakthrough was realising that my story was no longer only about me.
In 2021, I founded Million Dollar CEO to help women entrepreneurs achieve their first RM1 million in sales. Since then, more than 500 women from diverse industries have entered our community. Together, they have generated over RM50 million in sales, and dozens have crossed the million-ringgit milestone.
I have watched their growth transform not only businesses, but families, children, employees, and the future generations of women who will follow them.
But behind every number is a woman who finally dared to charge what she was worth, lead her team, make a difficult decision, or believe that her dream deserved space.
Today, I do not stand above these women. I stand beside them. I give honest feedback, practical strategies, and the support strong women are often too afraid to ask for.
My mission is to impact one million women across ASEAN—not simply to help them earn more, but to help them gain choices, dignity, confidence, and freedom.
My rise is not significant because I reached the top.
It is significant because I returned for other women.
When one woman rises alone, her life changes.
When she turns around and lifts another, the future changes.
I rose to become that woman.
