Collecting Happiness Through My Lens, Living in My Own Light
Hello everyone, I’m Minzy.
Many people know me as someone who is cheerful, approachable, and always smiling. But behind that smile is a story of growing up in a financially struggling family.
During my university years, I survived on just RM10 for an entire week, carried the burden of supporting my family, and endured the heartbreak of betrayal in a relationship. I had no money, no emotional support, and no one to rely on. Those difficult days forced me to become stronger than I ever imagined.
Everything changed when I unexpectedly accepted my first wedding photography assignment. As I listened to the bride and groom exchange their heartfelt vows and watched everyone around them moved to tears, I found myself crying behind the camera as well.
In that moment, I had a profound realization: I wasn’t simply taking photographs—I was preserving the beginning of a family, capturing one of life’s most sincere promises. From then on, photography became more than a career; it became my life’s calling.
I started as a freelance photographer, building my reputation one client at a time before eventually establishing my own studio. Over the years, my services expanded from wedding photography to corporate events and professional branding portraits.
However, I soon realized that being a great photographer did not automatically make me a successful entrepreneur. I didn’t want to become someone who mastered the craft but failed to build a sustainable business. So I invested in learning from experienced entrepreneurs, studying branding, marketing, and business strategy to continuously elevate the value of my company.
As my business grew, I began building a team. I truly believe that while one person may go fast, a team can go much farther. That’s why I adopted a project-based collaboration model, creating opportunities for talented creatives to showcase their skills and grow together.
I’ve never believed that I’m simply selling photography services. What I create are memories that can never be reproduced. My dream is not merely to build a successful studio, but to create a platform where creatives connect, collaborate, and thrive together.
Looking back, I see the young woman who once felt unloved and believed that money was the only path to happiness. Today, I am the founder of my own business, living a simple yet fulfilling life with a loving family.
That journey has taught me one invaluable truth: A woman’s greatest strength is her ability to create happiness—for herself and for those around her.
If you are walking through a difficult season right now, I want to leave you with these words:
Keep moving forward. Don’t look back. Everything will get better.
Have the courage to pursue the life you truly desire, because you are your own greatest source of strength.

The most precious things we preserve are never just photographs, but the stories of love, companionship, and happiness behind them.
