Many people believe that a full-time mother’s world revolves strictly around home and children. Yet, I have always firmly believed that becoming a mother does not mean giving up on personal growth or self-fulfillment.
For twelve years, I dedicated myself to the beauty industry—facing immense pressure, prospecting door-to-door, and serving clients with heart. Step by step, I built my own business. However, amidst that whirlwind, I faced a marital crisis. When I became pregnant with my third child, I had no choice but to step back from work and return home as a full-time mother. Although it was a realistic choice at the time, the entrepreneurial passion deep in my heart was never extinguished.
During those years, I managed our home while supporting my husband in running his business. He was deeply passionate about learning and frequently flew to China for courses, and I accompanied him on that journey of shared growth. On those learning trips, I met many driven individuals who were constantly pushing their limits. This reinforced my conviction: education truly has the power to transform a person’s life.
Inspired by our proactive mindset, a few friends in the education industry invited us to collaborate on promoting educational courses. After the pandemic, my husband and I joined hands to market educational programs across Malaysia, officially stepping into the field of educational entrepreneurship.
At the start, I threw myself heart and soul into a partnership with several education peers. I naively assumed that shared goals meant we could journey together toward a bright future. Instead, we clashed over core principles and conflicting values. I faced a lack of respect, felt my contributions were taken for granted, and ended up deeply disappointed despite my sincerity. During that dark period, I spiraled into self-doubt and even considered giving up altogether.
After stumbling through the dark, I came to a crucial realization: long-term alignment is never bound by material interest—it is forged through shared values. I decisively shifted my strategy to work hand-in-hand with my husband, focusing solely on meaningful education, curating aligned partners and mentors, and staying true to our core mission of nurturing others.
Today, my primary focus is no longer profit margins or course revenues; it is whether every single class truly helps someone transform and grow. Helping an entrepreneur refine their business means protecting the livelihoods of their employees’ families. When more entrepreneurs shine, society becomes a warmer, better place.
This is especially true for female entrepreneurs. Equipped with inner strength and clear vision, they not only rewrite their own destinies but also nourish their children, inspire their families, and pass down lasting beauty.
A woman’s strength does not lie in being invincible; it shines in her ability to protect her kindness and march forward bravely even after enduring hardship and trauma. I am eager to serve as a bridge through education, passing this uplifting power on to many more.
