Once, I believed that a stable and quiet life was all I needed. Growing up in a single-parent household, I worked hard at my studies, eventually becoming the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine—blessed with a family, children, and what seemed like a respectable career.
Life’s storms never detour simply because you are afraid. In 2017, as print media declined, I was forced to step away from the industry I knew so well and start anew as an entrepreneur. In 2021, my husband passed away suddenly, leaving me a single mother carrying two children forward alone. During those dark days, I couldn’t afford to fall, nor could I let my children see my vulnerability. I allowed myself only brief moments of grief before forcing myself to stay strong. Only later did I realize that wasn’t true strength—it was simply a woman with her back against the wall, doing whatever it took to keep herself upright.
What truly brought me out of the shadows was learning self-awareness. Through the “Wealth Flow” Life Simulation Game, I realized that many people lack neither methods nor answers, but rather a sense of worthiness and inner confidence. As a result, even when opportunity presents itself, they hesitate to reach out and take it.
Later, by a stroke of serendipity, I encountered Korean topical non-invasive skincare powered by skin science. At first, I merely saw its commercial potential: the ability to transform problem skin from deep within, an accessible price point, and an untapped market in Malaysia. Over time, however, I witnessed something deeper: as a person looks into the mirror each day and watches their skin grow finer, radiant, healthier, and softer—as they begin to hear, “Your skin looks beautiful”—that confidence steadily migrates from the outside in.
This confirmed my belief: beauty is never superficial; it is where one begins to truly see oneself again. Building this beauty business was never just about selling skincare. It is about empowering more women to rediscover their self-worth. So many women are not lacking in capability; they have simply lost themselves amid life’s demands, family roles, and societal pressures, forgetting that they, too, deserve to be loved, seen, and recognized. I hope that starting with ten minutes of morning and evening skincare, women can practice loving themselves—rediscovering their confidence and sense of worthiness with every compliment and visible transformation along the way.
Today, I no longer walk this path alone; I lead a growing collective of women thriving together in this beauty endeavor. Together, we master expertise, serve clients, and build meaningful careers. Together, we transform from being afraid to speak or be seen into stepping proudly into the light to share our shine.
My journey has taught me that true influence is not about how fast you travel alone, but how many lives you lift along the way. May my story resonate with every woman standing at a crossroads: You do not need to wait for life to be perfect to shine. The moment you choose to love yourself, your beauty, power, and influence are already on their way.
