Many guest see me today standing in the role of a corporate executive and entrepreneur, unaware that my life’s journey actually began at a piano keyboard. Growing up without a privileged background, I earned my living step by step during my university years by teaching piano and working part-time in accounting. At seventeen, accompanied by my parents, I established my first piano academy. Later, while studying abroad in Australia, I continued teaching piano while also taking on part-time roles at a café and an accounting firm. No matter how challenging the circumstances, I held fast to one core belief: Being abroad without resources is manageable, so long as one never loses the spirit of unyielding self-reliance.
Upon returning to my home country in 2018, I faced the culture shock of a completely new regulatory and business environment. My early entrepreneurial ventures met with repeated setbacks, leading me into moments of self-doubt. It was my mother who reignited my courage by encouraging me with the story of Thomas Edison. To master the local corporate management model, I joined a publicly listed company without regard for salary, treating it as an immersive learning opportunity while pursuing advanced professional qualifications. Over time, I rose to serve as Group Finance Director in the industry for eight years. In 2022, I founded my own consultancy firm, specializing in pre-IPO corporate restructuring and corporate tax strategy advisory services. Later, I was invited to serve as a Group Director and Board Member.
Yet at the peak of my career, fate dealt a heavy blow. Just as I stepped into another executive role, my father passed away unexpectedly in an accident, and my mother was critically injured—suffering fourteen fractures and falling into a coma. I found myself arranging my father’s funeral while caring for my mother, who faced a second major surgery two months later, all while being hospitalized multiple times myself due to sheer exhaustion. Fortunately, I received immense grace, patience, and support from my employer. Ultimately, my mother made a miraculous recovery, and I successfully delivered several major corporate projects.
Having weathered the storm, I stepped down from my executive role at the large corporation to devote my full focus to expanding my professional consultancy firm. This chapter taught me a fundamental truth: True success is defined not by the titles we hold, but by our resilience to stand tall after facing life’s greatest adversities.
A woman’s greatest strength lies not in never falling, but in having the resilience to rise every single time she stumbles.
To anyone currently going through a dark valley: never give up. The storms you endure today will ultimately become the light that illuminates the path for others tomorrow.
