Hello everyone, I’m Belle Tan.
I grew up in the commercial world. At nine years old, I began helping my family manage a coffee shop. However, when I was ten, our family fell on hard times, compounding the shadow of domestic violence. By fifteen, I was working to support myself. At twenty, I took a brave step into entrepreneurship and built a loan agency, which grew to employ over 200 staff members.
Then came the storm of the MCO, which nearly broke me. My business closed and my career reset to zero. In my twenties, severe burnout left me with premature gray hair, and I sank into deep despair multiple times. Yet, whenever I was on the brink of collapse, I reminded myself: I cannot fall. Behind me stand over 200 employees, and behind each employee is a family. I must never let my own emotional struggles ruin other people’s lives.
That darkest hour became the turning point of my life. While seeking to heal my own body, I came across natural therapies and met a mentor who guided me toward establishing a natural hair-care brand specializing in gray-hair restoration. For fifteen years, we have rejected superficial quick fixes, committing instead to deep-level wellness starting from the immune system. Today, we have established eight companies across Malaysia, helped over 30,000 clients regain their confidence and charm, and earned deep recognition and partnership from prestigious medical institutions such as Sunway Medical Centre.
In team management, I stick to an “80/20 distribution” principle—reinvesting 80% of our revenue back into the hard-working team. Because I know that when a leader is truly willing to share and care for their employees’ futures, the team will move forward with one heart.
Having navigated client lawsuits and the pains of entrepreneurship, I now view life with profound clarity. Problems that money can solve are not real obstacles. Face every challenge step by step, and there is no hurdle you cannot overcome.
