Following the expected timeline of life, I completed my studies, started my career, got married, and raised a family. For many years, my life revolved around two things — work and family. I genuinely believed I would continue living a stable and ordinary life until retirement.
My professional journey began as an Accounting Manager in an international company. I have always believed that “there is never a loss in learning more.” Because of that mindset, I constantly pushed myself beyond my own job scope. Besides accounting, I gradually learned administration, human resources, operations, warehouse logistics, computer systems, and even e-commerce. Step by step, I built strong backend management experience by understanding the full operation of a company.
In 2014, my life reached its first turning point when a friend introduced me to NGO activities. At that time, I was extremely introverted. I lacked the confidence to speak in public and preferred staying quietly in the background. However, those experiences slowly opened my eyes to a much bigger world.
In 2016, I was nominated as the President of JCI Pearl. The woman who once feared speaking in front of others was suddenly required to lead teams, communicate confidently, and continuously improve herself. During those years, I discovered that I had the ability not only to grow personally, but also to influence and inspire others.
Until today, I remain actively involved in NGO work and continue contributing to youth and talent development. I believe in empowering people to discover their potential, build confidence, and courageously step beyond their own limitations.
In 2017, I met Sany Low through JCI Pearl. Her creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and fearless mindset inspired me deeply and made me rethink what I truly wanted in life.
The biggest turning point in my life came in 2023. During a training camp, I met Sany Low again as a fellow trainer. Listening to her entrepreneurial vision made me realize that life had already reached halfway, and if I did not dare to step out for myself now, I might never do it.
Without hesitation, I submitted my resignation letter, ending my 28-year corporate career and taking the boldest step of my life into entrepreneurship.
As a mother of four children, this decision was never easy. Thankfully, I had the full support of my husband, and because of that support, I finally found the courage to truly live for myself.
Transitioning from the freight forwarding and logistics industry into the health and wellness industry was completely outside my comfort zone. Yet I strongly believe that we do not become stronger because we are fully prepared; we become stronger because we dare to begin.
I have always believed that women are not only wives, mothers, or caregivers. Women can also have dreams, abilities, leadership, and their own stage to shine.
Today, together with my two partners, we have built a strong and complementary entrepreneurial ecosystem. Sany Low leads the company’s vision, business strategy, and future expansion with her bold entrepreneurial mindset. Miff Fong drives branding, marketing, and market development with her creativity and strong market sense. As for myself, I oversee the entire backend operation, ensuring stability across systems, operations, logistics, accounts, administration, and organizational structure.
With each of us playing our respective roles and strengths, we have successfully built a strong foundation and ecosystem for the company. Today, we are not only growing as a business, but we are also fully prepared to reach even greater heights together.
I am JCI Senator Low Jin Ting — once an ordinary woman who feared change, but today still growing, still challenging myself, and still courageously moving forward in life
