《Save Yourself First, Then Illuminate Others: When You Reach Your Lowest Point, Every Step Is Upward》
Hello everyone, I am Denise Chong Ping Ting.
Growing up with divorced parents, adapting to constant changes in my environment forged a strong, independent nature in me. Yet in my younger years, I also hit rock bottom. I was self-conscious, vulnerable, rebellious, and utterly lost—at times, completely unable to find my way in life. On the surface, I appeared resilient, but deep down, I was drifting, searching for a path that truly felt right.
During the MCO period, driven by sheer determination, I seized the trend of live streaming and e-commerce, earning my first pot of gold. That experience proved my capability, but it also taught me a vital lesson: a business that generates quick profit is not necessarily a sustainable long-term career. Once the wave passed, I found myself back at a crossroads, searching once again for a direction that truly belonged to me.
Then, misfortune hit all at once—the collapse of my business, betrayal by friends, and the end of a relationship happening simultaneously. The relentless blows caught me unprepared and sent me spiraling into the lowest point of my life, leaving me lost once more.
Yet, it was precisely during this dark hour that I finally paused to face myself. I spent a year reflecting, regrouping, and nurturing myself anew, which ultimately brought about a major turning point in my life.
When I shifted my focus back onto myself, my direction became clear, bringing new opportunities and mentors into my life. I also discovered my passion—deeply rooted in the medical aesthetics industry and women’s empowerment. I believe true beauty goes beyond physical appearance; it is about empowering a woman to recognize her own self-worth, and instilling her with confidence, wisdom, and the agency to shape her own destiny.
Today, I am evolving into a more accountable leader with a clear objective: to impact and empower 1,000 women to regain their confidence and direction! Beyond that, when I attain greater capacity in the future, I aspire to dedicate myself to stray animal rescue, shielding and advocating for lives that cannot speak for themselves.
My journey has taught me that hitting rock bottom isn’t terrifying—what’s truly terrifying is giving up on ourselves.
When you fall to your lowest point, please do not dismiss your worth. As long as you choose to keep moving forward, every single step you take from here is an upward climb.
