From Darkness to Blossoming
Looking back a few years, the shadows of the pandemic had yet to fully fade, and my son was just reaching school age. At that time, despite the lingering risks, despite my family’s objections, and despite the “foundation” I had painstakingly built in my home country, I still chose to let go of everything. With one hand holding a suitcase and the other holding my child, I boarded a plane to a foreign land. That single step began both our journey of education abroad and the
unfolding of my entrepreneurial life in a country where I knew no one.
The moment I landed, fear overwhelmed me. Being in an unfamiliar place, the excitement of new experiences could not dilute the anxiety I carried inside. Before I even had a chance to find my footing, life delivered one blow after another—
the loss of a loved one, financial collapse, marital crisis, frozen assets, criticism from family, slander from competitors, insults from strangers, betrayal by partners, and misunderstandings from friends.
It felt as though fate had chosen that very moment to pour every hardship onto me, pushing me into the darkest abyss I had ever known.
During that period, I could hardly breathe under the weight of it all. Outwardly, I appeared strong and composed, but inwardly I swallowed every emotion, faced every problem alone, and carried pressure that nearly crushed me. My insomnia became so severe that even sleeping pills could
not help. And yet, after a sleepless night, when the morning alarm rang, I still had to put on my makeup, take my son to school, and walk into my office as if nothing had happened.
But children are far more perceptive than we imagine.
One night, when I got up due to insomnia and walked into the living room, I saw a small piece of paper on the table. On it, my son had written: “Mom, you are not alone. You have me. I love you forever. Everything happened for you, not to you.”
In that instant, my tears fell uncontrollably.
It wasn’t merely comfort—it was a beam of light. A warmth from my child, and a message from
the universe delivered through him. Yes, we often drown in the pain of what we have lost,
forgetting the priceless things we still have. At that moment, I understood: no storm in the external world can defeat a soul that has awakened.
So, I chose to shift my mindset. I stopped seeing myself as a “victim of hardship” and decided to reclaim my role as the creator and captain of my own life. I wanted to draw my strength back to myself and become a true role model for my son. Even if I stood alone, I could still rise as a force
of thousands.
What destroys us is not material loss but the extinguishing of inner courage.
Awakening happens in a single moment.
Rather than sinking into pain, it is better to gather strength and walk out of the fog. And as soon
as I began taking full responsibility for my own growth, fate quietly began to shift.
My career slowly saw the dawn of renewal:
my artistic intuition in eyebrow design surged with unprecedented clarity; the clients I assisted
with study-abroad applications and the “Malaysia My Second Home” program experienced
smoother and more efficient processing than ever before. Satisfied clients referred new ones in
waves, and within months, my cash flow rebounded.
In that moment, I finally understood: each of us is the helmsman of our own life. A true helmsman does not simply pray for calm seas—they build the skills to face any storm with courage and resilience.
Today, I am still living abroad, but I am no longer afraid of what lies ahead.
I am fuller, brighter, and more in love with every moment of life.
And I hope that whoever reads this will also awaken their own inner power, and live a life of outward abundance and inward joy.
I am Yanxi, and I hope to accompany more people as they blossom into a life of prosperity and genuine joy
