Keep Trying, and Never Let Yourself Get Stuck in a Problem
Hello everyone, I’m Hazel Mok.
I am a 90s-born entrepreneur who has always believed in taking action rather than allowing anxiety to take over. When I was young, my father went through a period of unemployment, so I started selling things at school to earn pocket money. That was when I first discovered my passion for business and the joy of buying and selling.
After graduating in 2018, I chose not to join my mother in the beauty industry. Instead, I decided to build my own path. I have been running a men’s clothing wholesale and retail business for nearly ten years. Facing intense market competition and the pressure of managing thousands of items in inventory, I sometimes felt anxious when customers did not walk through the door. But I never allowed myself to remain trapped in those emotions. I would get some rest, wake up the next day, and continue looking for solutions.
In 2021, frustrated by a clothing printing supplier that took too long to fulfil orders, I made a bold decision to purchase my own printing machine. What started as a solution to my own problem unexpectedly opened the door to a new business opportunity — uniform printing and corporate workwear. This experience taught me that solving one problem can sometimes create an entirely new opportunity. It also helped me understand the importance of establishing clear boundaries between production, sales, and design, while developing systematic management practices. Through this journey, I evolved from being a “friend” to becoming a more mature manager and business owner.
More recently, driven by my passion for coffee, I ventured into another new field — Event Coffee Bar — providing freshly brewed, hand-dripped coffee for corporate events and markets. Today, entrepreneurship means continuously expanding the boundaries of my life. Moving forward, I hope to grow my uniform business, transform my men’s clothing business, establish a stable foundation for my coffee venture, and gradually explore opportunities in property investment.
When faced with uncertainty and challenges, I never allow myself to be confined by limitations. After talking things through with family and friends, I take the time to gain a fresh perspective and then move forward with renewed ideas and determination.

I refuse to stay stuck in a problem. When I come up with a new idea, I take action and give it a try. By continuously trying, adapting, and moving forward, I believe I will always find a path that belongs to me.
