[Moving Towards the Light, Changes begin With Yourself]
I used to be trapped by my skin problems, and always struggled with a lack of confidence. But in the end, I chose to become the one who creates change.
My name is Katharine Joan.
For the past 16 years, I have dedicated myself into beauty industry. From traditional skincare in the early years, to Korean-style anti-aging treatments, and now to the science-based cellular anti-aging approach that I firmly believe in today. I have devoted the most precious time, experience and passion of my life to this industry.
But a lot of people look at me today and don’t know what I’ve been through. I’m not someone with naturally good skin. On the contrary, I was once deeply troubled by serious skin problems. During that time, I couldn’t go out without makeup, couldn’t look into the mirror, and couldn’t let anyone get close. Skin problems, slowly become a kind of pressure, also erode my confidence little by little. But it was also the experience, let me really began to face the “change” this matter seriously.
【Transform in the darkness creates the most brilliant light】
I began to keep learning, keep trying and keep looking for truly effective methods.
Step by step, I repaired my skin， Step by step， I rebuilt my confidence，
Step by step， I made myself better.
As my skin gradually improved, I also gradually realized that the change of a person is never just the appearance.
It was a rebuilding from the inside out.
I used to be a person who didn’t dare to stand in front of a crowd and speak.
Just the thought of sharing on stage made me nervous, cringe, and even want to run away.
But as time goes by, when I started to really understand about skin care, understanding antiaging, understanding women’s self-growth, I slowly realized that if my experience can help others avoid the wrong path, then my story is worth telling.
【I want to be an umbrella for others because I was once caught in the rain】
So, I started to try walked onto the stage.
From the beginning of a small sharing, later on I can confidently stand in front of the stage and share to public about my experience and ideas. It wasn’t just a change of speech, it was a breakthrough in the heart and my life my comfort zone.
Over the years, I witnessed the beauty industry constantly changing.
From the simple pursuit of beauty, to more and more people began to pay attention to scientific skin care and healthy of anti-aging.
I have always believed that truely beauty is not just the condition of the skin, but the moment when a woman believes in herself again.
When she starts to take care herself seriously, improve herself, she will change as a whole person from inside to outside.
【If transforming yourself is a kind of courage, then continuous growth is a choice】 As my career continued to move forward, I also experienced a deep slump in my life.
During a health check-up, my tumor index reached as high as 101.1.
At that moment, I realized for the first time that no matter how busy my life is and how hard my career is, if there is no health, everything may stop at any time.
During that time, I began to re-evaluate my lifestyle, my body state and the health signs I had long ignored.
I adapt, learn more about the body and the health management of knowledge, also try different ways to help the body to restore balance. With continuous efforts and conditioning, my physical indicators gradually improved, and my tumor index returned to the safe level of
22.8.
That experience for me is not only a physical warning, but also a reminder of life.
It made me deeply understand:
Health is never taken for granted, but a responsibility that needs to be taken seriously.
Because of this experience, I am more determined to promote the concept of women’s health awareness and self-management.
【Power is not about doing everything, but being able to make choices for yourself】
Once, I was also dim in the dark.
But today, I am shine in the flare.
What I’d rather to do is use my own experience and strength to light up more people.
Because the true power of women not only just to make themselves better.
but after walking through the darkness, being willing to turn around and give others a hand.

I believe every woman has a moment in her life where she feels like she’s slowly fading.
When her skin starts to change,when her body no longer feels the same, when her confidence quietly slips away…
It’s more than just appearance. It feels like losing a part of herself.
But I also believe that no woman is meant to stay there.
Because every woman,deserves the chance to rise again.
This is why I chose to go beyond just beauty.
This is why I chose to be part of something bigger.
With LIORA’s mission to SHINE STRONG LIVE WELL,
I want to be part of the light that reaches women in their lowest moments and gently reminds them of their strength.
Moving forward, my vision is to create a space where women don’t just come for treatments but come to reconnect with themselves to understand their body, to restore their health, and to rebuild their confidence from within.
My mission is not just to improve skin but to guide every woman back to her own rhythm her own balance her own glow.
Like a flower that once withered being touched by sunlight again…
She doesn’t just survive.She rises.
I truly believe that to stepping out of the comfort zone can brings me to a higher level and gaining more value, so I started to improve myself, absorb more and makes me get the certificate and professional recognition.
