My life is like a stage play with ups and downs, both heart-wrenching lows and shining highlights.

I am a single mother who has been through two failed marriages. He was tormented by depression and lost two children in his belly; had a debt of RM500,000; once took product samples and sold them along the street; I was homeless and spent the night in the car. He was even penniless and could only live on change. In those days, I often felt like I was standing on the edge of the abyss and isolated.

However, looking back now. I am extremely grateful for all this. It is these pains and setbacks that have honed mine will and forged my tenacity today. I learned to look for glimmers in the dark and grit my teeth and persevere in the most difficult moments. Life has never let me go easily, but because of this, I know how to cherish every growth and rebirth even more.

Today, I have two very handsome and sensible sons, who are my biggest motivation to keep going. Being a mother has taught me responsibility and unconditional love and it has also made me understand that true strength is not crying but continuing to walk with tears.

I went from being a stage dancer to becoming the corporate speech coach I am today as well as a stage producer and director. The stage witnessed my fall and stand up and also made me brave and confident today. I turn the stories of my life into strength on stage, and the suffering I have experienced into energy that inspires others.

I still believe that the future is full of hope. Regardless of the environment, those who have light in their hearts can continue to move forward in the darkness. I look forward to my future self continuing to be brave, wonderful and blooming in the dual journey of stage and life.
