《The Power of a Seed: Using the Wisdom of the Lily to Break Through Adversity and Create Fulfilment in Wealth and Life》

The story of the lily is a story about finances, relationships, health — and ultimately, life itself.

Dr. Eric Wu often begins by holding up a lily and asking, “What is this?”

Most people answer, “A lily.”

But if a puppy saw it, it might think it was a toy. If a bee saw it, it would see food and a source of nectar. And if there were no people, dogs or bees in the room, what would that flower be?

It would have no label, purpose or meaning attached to it.

The lily is not inherently a “lily.” It is the observer who gives it meaning.

When a person helps others and treats others with kindness, they are planting “seeds” in their own consciousness — seeds that may one day produce results. Dr. Wu calls this concept “The Power of Seeds,” and has made it his mission to bring this wisdom to the world.

I grew up in a poor family. Through hard work, I changed the course of my life. More than twenty years ago, I was already working as a public-speaking trainer and was skilled in singing, dancing and presenting. Yet deep inside, I still carried many unanswered questions. I knew there had to be a deeper and more meaningful mission for me to fulfil.

Then, at the age of forty, I encountered one of the most difficult periods of my life.

I was deceived through an online scam because of misplaced trust and lost all my money. My finances became extremely strained, and for two to three years I lived under enormous pressure.

During the MCO period, I met my life mentor, Dr. Eric Wu, through The Power of Seeds. I decided to give myself another chance to turn my life around.

Through studying with Dr. Wu, I began to understand that everything we experience can be viewed through the wisdom of the “lily.” My financial difficulties were not simply external circumstances; they were also an opportunity for me to examine the “negative seeds” I had planted in the past.

I listened, practised and applied what I learned. Gradually, something remarkable happened. Within a year, I developed the ability to resolve my financial difficulties.

Over the years, my relationships have improved, I have learned to let go of attachments, and my awareness of health has grown significantly. I moved from fear toward abundance. I discovered that when there is a genuine aspiration in our hearts, learning and consistent practice can transform the way we experience life.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Wu. Through his guidance, I came to believe that everyone needs to find the right mentor for their own journey. Whether the challenge involves finances, relationships or health, learning from someone who can guide us may help us move toward greater fulfilment.

Through the Never-Falling Power programme, I learned more deeply about the Power of Seeds and genuine gratitude. I became more appreciative of those who have treated me well — and even more grateful to the people I once regarded as “difficult,” because those experiences ultimately became part of my growth.

Through Classics and Self-Cultivation, I came to understand that life is constantly changing, and through learning, I can prepare myself to face uncertainty.

Through HLC Health Lifestyle, I began to understand health from both the inner and outer dimensions, while also learning to let go of negative habits — the “bad seeds” that no longer serve my life.

Today, I want to carry gratitude with me and genuinely love every person I encounter.

One seed can change the world.

And I believe the power of a seed can create extraordinary possibilities.
