《Opportunities Wait for No One, and Life Offers No Second Chances》

When I was working as an employee, I felt deeply unfulfilled and suffered many grievances. For about two years, I struggled and felt utterly lost. Then, one day, I had a sudden epiphany—I no longer wanted to live a life merely waiting for the clock to strike end-of-day.

The next morning, I took emergency leave and went straight to register my own company. The name turned out to be quite meaningful: JH Express Office Solutions.

JH represents my name, Jun Han, as I hope every client remembers who stands behind the service.

Express signifies speed, reflecting our team’s commitment to delivering prompt solutions.

Office Solutions indicates our promise to provide comprehensive, one-stop office supply services.

Our logo is crafted from the letters “JH,” rendered in vibrant colors to signify that we also specialize in printing services. I chose this industry partly because I appreciate aesthetics; I believe image matters and have always had a passion for apparel. My vision is to refine corporate brand image so that working professionals can head to the office feeling both confident and comfortable.

The path of entrepreneurship has been fraught with challenges—far more than I ever anticipated. The toughest burden was managing near-impossible urgent orders: taking on a project today that required delivery within two to three days! This demanded absolute mastery in time management and operational planning from our team, with strict tracking of every project deadline. At JH Express Office Solutions, our highest priority is integrity—when we commit to a delivery date, we fulfill it, no matter how tight the timeline.

Second to that was securing our financial revenue—our Sales!

We explored every avenue imaginable: from traditional walk-ins to WhatsApp broadcast messaging, social media updates, Facebook advertising, and even attending networking events and sponsoring activities. We left no stone unturned.

Then came operational hurdles involving staff, machinery, and suppliers. Unexpected issues arose constantly, reinforcing the need for contingency planning. Since plans rarely keep pace with change, we were always prepared with Plan B and Plan C. During the first two to three years after founding the company, life was relentlessly demanding. Out of 24 hours a day, I was working nearly 18 to 19 hours. During those years, my son grew distant from me. He frequently talked back, disobeyed, and ignored me when I tried to speak with him. I felt deeply hurt and ridden with guilt.

One day, I shared these feelings with my mother. She gently reached out to my son to talk through the situation. To my surprise, he broke down in tears, saying I didn’t love him at all and only cared about work. He confessed that he resented me and asked, “If she doesn’t love me, why did she bring me into this world?”

Hearing those words broke my heart, and I couldn’t stop the tears. Yet, it was precisely this moment that awakened me: I hadn’t paused to truly care for those who mattered most in a long time. From that point on, I implemented two major changes: allocating half an hour before bed every night as dedicated family time to share our daily experiences and feelings, and planning one to two family trips each year so we could slow down and cherish quality time together. I am not a perfect mother; because of my intense work schedule, I rarely had time to accompany my son, nor did I often cook meals for him.

I did try cooking once, but it ended with the kitchen looking like a war zone! I always felt guilty and remorseful that my work prevented me from guiding his education or reading and studying alongside him. However, this taught me an invaluable lesson: no matter how busy entrepreneurship gets, we must never neglect accompanying and caring for our family—for that is where true happiness resides.

To every woman who aspires to start her own business, I want to say: Life spans only a few short decades. We must make the most of our time and courageously pursue what we truly desire! Do not fear failure, and leave no room for regret. Set clear goals, and press forward with confidence and courage!

Remember: Opportunities wait for no one and life offers no second chances!
