People often ask what keeps me moving forward through the challenges of entrepreneurship and event management. My answer is simple: when I make a promise, I honour it, and whatever I choose to do, I give it my very best. This belief has guided nearly three decades of my career and remains the foundation of my personal values and leadership.
My journey began in 1997 in my father’s business, where I learned entrepreneurship, responsibility and perseverance from the ground up. I later became a professional buyer in the roofing systems industry, representing the company in overseas negotiations and gaining experience in procurement, relationship building and strategic decision-making. I then joined a leading hair salon chain, contributing to purchasing and the expansion of several branches. These roles strengthened my skills in operations, planning and business development.
The turning point came during my eleven years at Neway Karaoke, where I discovered my passion for marketing, branding, customer engagement and event management. Through promotional campaigns, corporate functions, award ceremonies and large-scale events, I learned that memorable experiences are never accidental. They result from detailed planning, strong teamwork and disciplined execution.
That passion led me into the artificial snowfall industry, creating magical experiences for shopping malls, weddings, film productions and festive celebrations. While audiences saw the beauty of falling snow, I saw the months of preparation, technical precision, risk management and collaboration behind it. Every snowflake reminded me that excellence is built through dedication that often goes unseen.
Inspired to create more meaningful experiences, I co-founded an event management company before establishing Infinity Events. Today, we specialise in exhibitions, conferences, product launches, gala dinners, corporate events, experiential activations and customised snowfall experiences. Our mission is to inspire people, strengthen connections and create lasting memories.
Entrepreneurship, however, is rarely glamorous. One of my greatest tests came while organising a prestigious awards ceremony when we unexpectedly lost the venue at the last minute. Many believed cancellation was unavoidable. Instead of focusing on the setback, my team and I searched for alternatives, negotiated tirelessly, reorganised the programme and mobilised every available resource. Against the odds, we secured another venue and delivered the event successfully. Most guests never knew how close it had come to cancellation.
That experience reshaped my understanding of leadership. True leadership is revealed by how calmly, decisively and courageously we respond when everything appears to be falling apart. The successful outcome strengthened our clients’ confidence, created new opportunities and led to lasting partnerships.
Today, I work with corporations, government agencies, associations, brands and venue owners to create events that build communities, elevate brands and form genuine emotional connections. Infinity Events does not merely organise events. We create dreams, transform ideas into meaningful experiences and design moments people remember long after the lights dim and the music fades.
Looking back, I understand that every transition, challenge and setback prepared me for this purpose. Success is not defined by a smooth journey, but by the promises we keep, the resilience we demonstrate and the courage to continue.
