Perseverance: Hope Becomes Visible Through Persistence

Hello, everyone. I’m Aileen.

I was born into an ordinary yet grounded family. Growing up, I was introverted and lacked confidence. I once thought I would spend my entire life as a quiet accountant, living a simple and stable life. That changed after I got married, when my husband ventured into the aluminium and glass industry. Although the company had projects, it struggled to generate profits. For the sake of our family and our future, I made the courageous decision to leave my stable accounting career and step into the realities of running a business.

Going from working comfortably with numbers to dealing with cash flow pressures, employee management, and client relationships, I quickly realised that entrepreneurship was far more demanding than I had imagined. The hardest moments were not the physical exhaustion, but the uncertainty of not knowing where the next order would come from.

Yet my husband and I chose to move forward one step at a time, believing that sincerity and integrity would create opportunities. A benefactor gave us our very first order. We earned the second and third through the quality of our work. Over twelve years of perseverance through countless challenges and changing seasons, we transformed a small installation team of just a few people into a company with a complete production system and a workforce of 80 employees.

Throughout this journey, my husband and I have been both life partners and business partners. When we disagreed on business matters, we never competed over who was right. Instead, we communicated openly and worked together to find the solution that was best for the company.

What has carried me through all these years is a deep sense of responsibility. I wanted not only to provide my children with a better environment in which to grow, but also to take responsibility for the 80 employees who depend on the company—and for the families behind them.

Entrepreneurship has completely transformed me. It has taken me from a timid and insecure girl and shaped me into a decisive, resilient, and capable leader who is willing to take responsibility and face challenges head-on.

Today, our company is moving steadily towards greater scale and international expansion.

I firmly believe that no experience in life is ever wasted. Every step we take counts.

Perseverance does not mean working hard because you can already see hope. It means continuing to work hard until, little by little, hope begins to appear.

As long as we refuse to give up, every valley will eventually lead us towards the light.
