She Rises · My Life Becoming Part of the Light

In this rapidly changing era, every woman carries many roles at once—
a mother, a daughter, a leader, a partner, a caregiver, a dreamer.
On the surface, we appear strong, capable, and composed.
Yet only we truly know how many silent breakdowns, hidden tears,
and unspoken perseverance exist behind the scenes of our lives.

Because of this, I have come to believe deeply:

Every woman deserves to be seen.
Every real, vulnerable, and courageous life deserves to be recorded and passed on.

This is why I chose to join She Rises · The Writing Project.
Not merely to write a story,
but to leave my mark in this era—
and to use my lived experiences to illuminate the path for other women who are still searching.

🌿 Only Women Who Have Walked Through Storms Understand the Meaning of Strength

My life has never been smooth or effortless.
In my younger years, I worked tirelessly to build my career while carrying the responsibilities of family.
I experienced the ups and downs of marriage, the pressure of business, and periods of deep confusion about life.

I once believed that a woman’s role in life was to continuously sacrifice and fulfill others.
But through repeated challenges, I came to understand a vital truth:

If we do not first honor and fulfill ourselves,
we will never truly be able to fulfill anyone else.

I am a mother, and I am also an entrepreneur.
Over decades, I raised three children—guiding them to grow independently, responsibly, and compassionately.
They have become my greatest pride,
and they reaffirm my belief that kindness always finds its way back home.

In the second half of my life, I turned toward inner cultivation and learning.
I completed a six-day Executive Program in Chinese Culture and began deeply studying The Analects, Confucian philosophy, and The Art of War.
Through these teachings, many lifelong questions found their answers,
and I began to see my inner world with clarity.

Learning carried me from confusion to insight.
From attachment to ease.
From trying to change others—
to finally understanding myself.

💛 2025: Doing Good, and Being Met by Goodness

My life has also been graced with meaningful moments.
There were times when I hoped to organize a thousand-person Buddhist music charity banquet,
and times when I aspired to promote the Medicine Buddha cultural initiative—
yet these plans did not materialize as expected.

I felt disappointment. I questioned myself.
But through continued inner cultivation, I came to understand:

Some things in life are not failures—
they simply have not yet reached their time.

The universe, however, never turns away a sincere intention.

On July 25, 2025, serving as the Chairperson of the fundraising committee,
I successfully raised RM 1,100,000 for Hope Garden,
providing three full years of living support.

In that moment, I truly understood:

When you choose to become someone else’s strength,
the world will rise to support you as well.

Every act of kindness we give
quietly accumulates blessings for the future.

🌳 The Second Half of Life: Creating a Home for the Soul

Now retired, I have begun to reflect deeply on what I truly desire in the next chapter of life.
Not fame. Not competition.
But peace, freedom, and genuine happiness.

I purchased a piece of land and began planning a home—
not merely a structure,
but a place where my heart can finally rest.

Together with the one I love,
we envision a simple life:

Growing vegetables and fruit trees,
raising fish and shrimp in the river,
keeping chickens, ducks, and geese in the yard,
watching the sunrise and sunset each day.

This is the life we choose—
simple, grounded, and complete.

It is the happiness I have finally allowed myself to embrace
after a lifetime of effort, responsibility, and resilience.

At this stage of life, I understand deeply:

True wealth is inner peace.
True success is sharing ordinary days with the person you love.

🌟 Why I Chose to Write My Story into She Rises

Because I know I am not the only woman who has endured hardship and still persisted.
Nor am I the only woman who held together family and career
while quietly longing for happiness.

I write my story so that more women may know:

💛 You are not alone.
💛 Others have walked paths similar to yours.
💛 The struggles you thought you could not survive are shaping a stronger you.
💛 Your life deserves to be heard.
💛 You are allowed to choose happiness—again.

Writing is not about proving greatness.
It is about seeing ourselves truthfully.
And the truth is—who we are is already worthy.

When women record their life stories,
they unknowingly offer direction and strength to another woman searching in the dark.

🌈 A Message to Every Woman: Your Life Is Worth Writing

You do not need to be extraordinarily successful, wealthy, or special.
You only need the courage to face your life honestly—
and that alone already makes you strong and beautiful.

Write your story to tell the world:

✨ You tried
✨ You endured
✨ You carried responsibility
✨ You fell
✨ And you rose again

That is strength.
That is a story.
That is you.

When you write it down, you may be surprised to discover:
You were never less than anyone else.

🔥 Final Words

No path we have walked was in vain.
Every pain becomes wisdom.
Every experience becomes strength.

The story you write today
may become the courage another woman needs tomorrow.

May more women dare to write themselves, speak themselves, and become themselves.
May we see light in one another’s stories, find strength together, and move toward wholeness.

I choose to write my life into this book.
Because I believe—

When we allow the world to hear us,
we leave our light in this era.
